A suicide is nothing to make fun of. But there is really no point to put your head in an electric oven. She died by intoxication with carbonmonoxide.

When I first seen your picture it struck a chord with me, I normally love this style of photography but I was profoundly offended I am a Sylvia Plath fan and I never get offended usually but for some reason this image bothers me not only because it is inaccurate (she lay down beside the oven) but it is in poor taste.

I completely understand where you're coming from.
When i took it it wasn't meant to have anything to do with her at all, i was going more for a housewife climbing into her oven to hide out for a while sort of thing, but then the model mentioned sylvia, and in my head i was like "oh sylvia" and it just sort of stuck. I mean, it's an electric oven even!
But, yeah. *shrug*
